The difference is Death Pool uses some combination of Deadpool, Hulk Buster, Venom, Taskmaster, Red Skull and Zola. Death Wave uses nearly exactly what you have, but I typically see Leader and She-Hulk replacing Venom and Zola for the big turn 6 Death, She Hulk and Leader. At some point the two basically merged and swapped Magneto for Leader. Turns out Aero doesn’t need much support around her so can fit lots of places and Deathwave is a deck that doesn’t need 6 energy to do it’s thing so had room for her. does 100% brass cause sparks when grindedWebLeader was never that big of a part of the Shehulk Baero deck, so the nerf wasn't the reason why Deathwave deck disappeared in the meta. The reason it disappeared is because of how strong T6 Zabu/Surfer, Shuri/Redskull, or Zabu/Darkhawk decks are. Those deck's T6 play can simply outgun Shehulk Bareo. eye for eye make the whole world blindWebAt full strength, Death Wave is a much stronger and more versatile deck, and in my opinion, just much more fun to play. Ongoing Destroyer is a strong deck for climbing ladder, but it plays as clunky as an unfolding lawn chair. Like Patriot and Mr Negative decks, you’re constantly waiting on one specific card to make the deck work. eye for sightWebThe backup line if you don't draw the pieces of a decent Venom combo is to use Wave to get Death out on turn four or five and copy that with Taskmaster and/or Arnim Zola to get multiple 12-power bodies on board.
