WebSo while I always have MCAS, I don’t always have HIT bc most of the time my MCAS is treated (10mg Ketotifen per day) but the MCAS treatment doesn’t stop the HIT once histamine levels remain constant and high due to pollen. A few months ago I was eating anything I wanted aside from a few spices I avoid due to salicylate intolerance. My symptoms are awful – 1 bowel movement per week, exhaustion, eczema, dehydration, low vitamins (Even though I supplement with high quality). I have tried 4-6 months of antimicrobials and it didn’t reduce the sibo, blasto or my symptoms.
