A MUV may not be operated on any street or highway with four or more travel lanes unless the posted speed limit is 35 mph or less. WebbNorth Carolina has the same traffic rules for both motorcycles and dirt bikes. At the same time, proper safety gear is necessary for on-road dirt bike riding. A driving license is not mandatory while riding a dirt bike in the personal properties, trails, neighborhoods, specifically designed streets, and off-roads.
