Webb19 dec. 2024 · We have an intuitive understanding of motorcycle gearing, as most people have ridden bicycles and have seen sprocket sizes. Some of you may have thought about ratios of the front to rear sprocket, and realised that a smaller one up front means you go slower, and a smaller one at the rear means you go faster (and vice versa). The inner plate of the front derailleur cage should nearly but not quite touch the chain; we’re talking about a gap of 1-2mm. If the gap is larger than that, turn the L screw clockwise to move the inner plate of the front derailleur cage closer to the chain.
